Have you ever heard the theory that says if you were born in the same situation as someone else you would end up the same way they have?
Do you believe it?
Are you special?
Are you a unique soul that is different from other people even on the deepest fundamental level?
I have an inkling that your heart has an answer to that question. I would guess that when I asked that question something inside of you had an answer. I would even bet that you might have a reaction to that question.
So let me ask you… What does it feel like?
Whether you answer yes or no, does the answer create a light happy feeling or a heavy sinking feeling for you?
If you think, “yes, I am a special and unique soul” or “No, I am not,” which feels lighter?
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the answer that feels light and happy is the truth and the one that feels heavy and sinking is the lie you may have bought about you.
Every time you believe a lie about you it’s like adding a weight.
Most of us walk around with tons and tons of extra emotional baggage called limiting beliefs.
Limiting beliefs are all the crap you have believed about you that weighs you down.
Have you ever seen one of those people who just seem to glow? They radiate confidence and charisma. Why? If you asked them what is possible for them, what do you think they would say?
I have a sneaking suspicion they would tell you that they can do anything they set their mind to.
Can they do anything they set their mind to because they believe they can or do they believe they can because they do?
This is definitely a million dollar question that has been fueling the self help industry since its inception.
Here is the bottom line…
Either it’s bullshit and some people are blessed with the ability to create their dream lives and others are not…
Anyone can create the life they truly desire if they start by believing it’s possible.
I don’t know about you but that seems a lot like a 50-50 chance to me.
I like to see it this way…
If I believe my dreams are possible I have a 50% chance that I am right. If I believe my dreams are NOT possible I have a 100% chance I am right.
So what would you rather be... happy or right?
